Construction Arbitration |
There are cases where a builder, contractor, or installer fails to construct or complete a home or project to the buyer’s or homeowner’s expectations. When the construction concerns or building issues are expensive, the middle ground is hard to reach. At this point legal advice and a highly qualified, certified, and experienced real estate inspector is required. The inspector should be affiliated with or a member of several associations and societies. He or she should be well seasoned for this type of inspection service. Sometimes the contractor or installer will return and correct the problem or make repairs. There are others who will avoid responsibility and make it difficult to get results. They will hire good defense lawyers who specialize in construction disputes. Arbitration is the result. It is just like a high profile court case. The more extensive and costly the corrections are the more invasive and scrutinizing the lawyers are. I have over 30 years of experience in these types of building issues and can provide professional testimony, data collection and reporting to help resolve building disputes.
